If 1 of them decides to be an asshole you're stuck for a minimum of 20 minutes + the 10 it took for queue + lobby. They throw you in a game with 4 other people. A great example is League of Legends, which is known for its toxic community. I think this happens way more than people realize. I personally think one can blame the rampant toxicity of players on this removal of the community aspect.
